Meningiomas are the most common primary tumors of the central nervous system in adults. High-grade forms have a high frequency of neurofibromatosis 2 (NF2) mutations and represent 25% of meningiomas, with multiple recurrences associated with morbidity and reduced survival without medical options, including immunotherapy. The meninges play a key role in neuro-immune communication through the diversity of their immune cells and the presence of meningeal lymphatic vessels (MLV). Recent data, including from our team, shows frequent infiltration of lymphocytes and myeloid cells specific to benign meningiomas. Our hypothesis is that the...
Physical activity (PA) has been an integral part of non-drug therapy since the early 2010s. This supportive care is likely to reduce fatigue and improve the quality of life of patients during and after the cancer treatment phase. Physical activity also has a protective effect in terms of tertiary prevention by reducing the risk of recurrence of certain cancers (breast, colon, prostate) by around 40 to 50% and by reducing overall mortality. Adapted physical activity (APA) is offered at the Institut de Cancérologie de l'Ouest (ICO) in Angers, but there are obstacles particularly linked to the geographical distance of the ...
This study will evaluate whether the combination of sacituzumab govitecan (SG) and bevacizumab will result in shrinkage of brain metastases from patients with non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with disease progression on chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
This is a Phase I/II Study to determine the safety and efficacy of Sacituzumab Govitecan and Zimberelimab with stereotactic radiation (SRS) in participants with metastatic triple negative breast cancer with brain metastases, compared to treatment with Sacituzumab Govitecan alone.
This study assesses the feasibility of SGM-101, a fluorochrome-labeled anti-carcinoembryonic antigen monoclonal antibody, for intraoperative near-infrared fluorescence imaging of colorectal brain metastases by injecting SGM-101 intravenously 3 - 5 days prior to surgery.
An early phase 1 for pediatric patients with recurrent or progressive CNS malignancies
This study aimed to evaluate the use of SHR-A1811 and bevacizumab in HER2-positive Breast Cancer with brain metastases
This is a phaseⅡ, single-arm study evaluating the efficacy and safety of SHR-A1921 Combined with Bevacizumab in Triple-negative Breast Cancer with Brain Metastases
This study aims to assess multimodal Radiomics-based prediction model for prognostic prediction in spinal tumors.
This is a pilot study to test the feasibility of implementing a strict classic ketogenic diet among a population of children with recurrent or progressive and refractory brain tumors. Eligible participants will be admitted to the neurosciences floor for 5 days to begin the ketogenic diet either orally, by gastrostomy tube or via nasogastric tube. During the inpatient stay, they will be extensively educated on the diet restrictions and rules. Participants will then continue on the diet at home returning about 17 times over the next 12 months. Daily logs will be kept tracking diet changes, bowel movements and urine ketones. Blood will...
